Description

This is a part of the view from Åland out in the Baltic Sea. The picture is composition made of a few colors of the impression of the waves and reflected sun. The Giclée prints were made on highest Hahnemühle cotton lump paper.

I belong to an Art and Craft tradition where I explore the landscape and man with inefficient historical photographic processes.

Slowness becomes meaningful. This means that I need to adapt my actions and establish a relationship between my inner self and the subject.

The slowness creates a contemplative state between what I see and experience.
