The Water tower

Description

This is the water tower in Västerås in Sweden. The picture is composition of lines making the architecture to a game graphic impression. It is based on a photography and etched in two copper plates, one for each color. The pictures were made on Hahnemühle copper etching cotton lump paper and is original signed prints.

I belong to an Art and Craft tradition where I explore the landscape and man with inefficient historical photographic processes.

Slowness becomes meaningful. This means that I need to adapt my actions and establish a relationship between my inner self and the subject.

The slowness creates a contemplative state between what I see and experience.
