Description
The Arapaho Tribal word for Grandmother is Neiwoo (Neigh-waw). I was lucky enough to have been able to spend a lot of time with my Grandmother as a youngster. She taught me many of our tribal customs and was very well respected by most people. This piece was created to honor ALL of those older Matriarchs who were protectors, teachers and are important in any community.
