I was first introduced to felt in the early 1990s and since then I have been fascinated by wool and felt technique.
After following several workshops by both Dutch and International artists, I have developed my own style and technique.
I carefully choose the wool or wool/silk and add other materials. This is how I make abstract art and clothing accessories.
My love for graphic design is reflected in my work. This results in making origami felt, a beautiful, interesting, and not-simple combination of techniques!
I use a combination of materials such as mulberry paper, silk, and flax, but always with a wool base. I make origami art in antique bell jars, 3-dimensional wall objects, and clothing accessories.
In smaller products with felt as a base, I can express my creativity in a different way. I make wall objects, jewelry, and book covers with a felt cover to which I add embroidery and other materials.

In recent years I have studied vegetable dyeing of wool, silk, felt, and
leather.
Botanical printing on leather fascinates me in particular, the results are always surprising!
I use printed leather to make applied art like boxes, little bags, and jewelry.
I work from my home studio.
