Description
On a fundamental level, the image challenges preconceived notions of both nudity and artistic expression. Nudity, in the Western world, often carries a weight of objectification and sexuality. Here, however, the act of painting seems to reclaim the naked body, transforming it from an object to a subject, an active agent of creativity.
