Kamil Šustr

Born in 1992 in the sign of Lion. Diagnosed mentally handicapped. His non-standard development enabled him to excel in emotional intelligence. In 2015, Kamil had his first epileptic fit, all at once. Cramps, suffocation, blue face, transport to the hospital in an ambulance. The period of epileptic fits lasted for 3 years. According to an advice of a wise woman, Kamil started to paint with Ms Andrea Latislavová, an art therapist. After their second session in October 2018 the epilepsy was gone. Kamil has been painting since that time with joy, in full health. His beautiful colourful abstract paintings are full of emotions – as through art is the only way he can express them.

He uses acrylic and oil paints on canvas or cardboard. His pictures are eye candy and nourishment for the soul.
