Karin Küstner-Pohl is a psychotherapist and artist with a passion for visual arts. She completed her artistic education at the Free Academy of Fine Arts in Klagenfurt and received private lessons from renowned artists such as Milan Baltic in Klagenfurt and Thomas Beecht from Munich. In addition, she successfully completed her master’s training at the Leonardo Art Academy in Schloss Mattsee near Salzburg, under the guidance of Professor Hannes Baier.Her studio and gallery are located at Widmanngasse 24 in Villach, where she prefers to use acrylic and oil paints on canvas. Karin Küstner-Pohl is particularly inspired by German Expressionism and Art Nouveau. In her gallery, she is currently presenting abstract and surrealist works in sgraffito technique that emerge from the unconscious. As a member of the Professional Association of Austrian Artists, the Velden Art Association at Lake Wörthersee, and the Art and Culture Platform Widmanngasse, she is actively engaged in the art scene.Karin Küstner-Pohl has exhibited her works in numerous exhibitions in Carinthia, Vienna, Germany, and Croatia. Her artworks reveal a deep artistic sensitivity and impressive technique.
