My works are the result of an inner research deeply connected with nature and its spiritual dimension The sacredness of nature and ancient myths, as well eastern philosophies are the common thread that nurture my work. Water and earth are the feminine elements that fuel my research.
Since I started painting I have always been focused on the observation of nature and landscapes. Working on colour perception and depth of field, I gradually moved from figurative art to abstraction. Layer after layer, the colour field becomes an inner landscape, where, following my thread of thought, lines and visions appear. As for my work on sculpture, I work on marble, clay and plaster. I like to combine different media in my artworks, synthesizing natural shapes and colours through linear and organic forms.
