Pia Abdenur is an Argentine artist whose work explores the relationship between solidity and fluidity, the material and the
intangible. Inspired by nature, her art engages with textures, light, and time, creating a visual language that invites
contemplation and introspection.
Through oil painting, Abdenur transforms the surface of the canvas into sculptural forms that evoke the solidity of rocks and
the fluidity of water. These natural elements, witnesses of time, symbolize memory and transformation. Rocks, shaped by
invisible forces, serve as a metaphor for the human journey, where every experience carves and molds us.
In her latest series, Impermanente, Abdenur captures the fleetingness of the moment, materializing the ephemeral in tangible
forms. Her works act as a bridge between the visual and the emotional, inviting viewers to a silent encounter with the
transformative essence of the natural world.

Pia Abdenur is an artist whose work transforms painting into a visual, tactile, and emotional experience. She grew up
surrounded by photography, architecture, and design, which shaped her aesthetic vision and passion for art.
Living between Argentina and Colombia allows her to draw inspiration from contrasting landscapes and cultural diversity,
reflected in the chromatic and symbolic richness of her works. Her oil technique explores the boundary between painting and
sculpture, adding body and texture to the canvas. Abdenur delves into concepts such as transcendence, impermanence, and
memory, using elements from nature.
Self-taught, she complemented her training with artists in Argentina and Colombia and through programs like El Oráculo. She
has participated in La Dehesa in Santiago, Chile, in Casa FOA 2024, where her work engaged with architectural design, and in
contemporary art fairs such as BADA and Art Week Chile.
