My name is Ann Franzén. I started painting when I was young. Every day resulted in a new creation, picture, or something else. For me, creating has been a natural part of life, something that constantly demands attention. I love my creative moments where time flies and a rare peace settles in. I completed a 2-year artistic program at Eskilstuna Folkhögskola and then a 3-year university program in information design at Mälardalens University, earning 180 credits. Over the years, my art has had to take a back seat to family, children, and work to some extent. Now I paint full-time, and after moving to the Bjäre Peninsula where I now live, life feels fantastic in many ways. Here, there is an incredible environment that greatly contributes to the creative process. I look forward to each new day! This is where my creativity continues.
