A colourful journey from East Africa to the Cornish Seasides As an East African girl, I have a burning passion for gorgeous vistas, hot colours, and awe-inspiring natural beauty – And it’s that love that drove me towards abstract scenery painting. I have a love for mixed media – including inks, acrylics, collages, and paints – but my true passion lies with the vibrant colours and smooth textures of oil paint. I became a full-time painter and printmaker in 2020. And I owe a lot to those that came before me. That’s why, along with landscapes & seascapes, I pull inspiration from talented artists such as Jackson Pollock, Van Gogh, Monet, Karen Stamper, Gillian Ayers, Ashley Hanson, and so many more.
