When I start working on a canvas, I never know what will come out at the end. I once started painting and I often wondered what happened with me and all those colors. I am playing as long as the process takes me to the end of the image. Well, playing usually is fun – and often hard work. I mainly work with acrylic colors. Sometimes with egg tempera and also oil. More or less you can find something concrete in the image, often it challenges your fantasy… When an image is done I mostly get a feeling of being fallen in love. I need to keep the image around me for days or weeks. Then the time comes to let it go…I trust it will find its right and special place in this world.
