“Captive Audience”

…is the artist’s expression of ‘what if Robert Johnson had made a deal with the Devil at the crossroads back in the day?’ The painting exhibit’s typically strong physical marking with acrylics on 1.5″ stretched canvas and depicts various souls in purgatory, in this case a blues bar, listening to Johnson and his trio. As usual the artist disjoints reality using extreme perspective aberrations and introducing a multitude of  vague characters resulting in a distinct sense of movement.
