Porthleven I (Diptych)

Description

Based on the Cornish Harbour of Porthleven which has a double harbour and a removable barrier between the two harbours to protect the small boats when the weather turns bad.  Portheleven has an iconic clocktower at the end of the harbour and this creates a dramatic focal point from any vantage point. This collage represents the rough seas and the protective nature of the harbour with the clocktower abstracted in red on the left.  Diptych size 29 x 42 cms, framed in a simple white frame under glass, framed size 42 x 55 cms.  This picture is currently in the Galleri Soho.
