CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The WOOD should be cleaned with a damp cloth and or with neutral soap. Do not use cleaning products containing alcohol, solvents, or any of their derivatives.
BD recommends applying teak oil twice a year for good wood maintenance. Always apply the teak oil with a brush when the wood is dry.
It is recommended to cover the sun lounger with a cover in rainy and out-of-use seasons.
FABRICS should be cleaned with a damp cloth and or with neutral soap. In case of difficult stains, a mixture of bleach (40%) and water (60%) can be applied.
BD continued in 1975 to produce furniture that Antoni Gaudí designed for his Batlló and Calvet houses, following exactly the same production processes that were implemented with the first pieces. The launching of the collection of furniture and lamps by Salvador Dalí in 1991 marked a milestone. For the first time, objects designed by Dalí were made for functional
use (unlike the sculptures) and other furniture was extracted from the artist’s paintings.
This catalog gathers all of the objects in our collection which are closer to art than design. All of the pieces presented here are manufactured by artisans, are limited editions, or are produced in small numbered quantities. Recent additions that measure up to
the aforementioned authors are Fernando and Humberto Campana, Jaime Hayon, Ettore Sottsass, and Doshi Levien
