Almost lost but too fascinated by place to care. In 1976 the photographer found himself with friends making memories on the back roads of the Alberta foothills and the Eastern Rockies. This image is a nice example of the effect of light on film, how it stimulates emotion through honest grain, surrealistic colours and textures not otherwise achievable. The characteristics of the analog film image contribute to the feelings and the story.

Limited edition (90) fine art print from the artist’s Code 9 Series, a series of 9 photographs selected from his body of work to be featured for the first time at Vancouver’s 12th annual Mid Main Art Fair 0n June 9, 2024.

Produced with care using archival paper and pigment inks; 7.25″ x 9.625″ (Approx. 18cm x 24cm) plus border.
