Tom Lönnqvist is a Helsinki-based artist working with sound, space, and performance. He has a master’s degree in sound and has been part of several acclaimed dance and performance art pieces. Tom’s artistic work includes working with the body, modular synthesis, installation, painting, video, drums, and ambisonic field recordings.

The paintings are created from the triad; water, earth, and city. Water as in waves and movement. Earth as in soil with its vibrancy of growth. City as in culture, shape, and sound. The paintings are created on large canvases on the floor to then be finalized within a frame.
